What is an e-assessment?

An online (electronically, by means of Internet) assessment gives you the possibility to explore the qualities of an applicant or an employee at anytime and anyplace. Mostly the test consists of a combination of personality (behavior patterns and characteristics of a person) and intellectual capacities (has a candidate the required work and thinking level). The test results can be converted directly into competences.

An e-assessment makes it possible to rapidly select applicants and the results can be used for possible follow-up studies with simulations and interviews.

How does it work?

Using a login code and a password the applicant or employee obtains access to the Internet site with the test(s). The applicants fill in the digital questionnaires/tests in your organization or on a different spot by means of the computer. Immediately after finishing the tests, the report will be generated and mailed to a predefined e-mail address.

If required a (GITP) consultant can translate the report to your specific question.If relevant an additional assessment with simulations and interview can take place. On the basis of the report and the interview you reach a decision.

What are the benefits?

An e-assessment saves time and raises the efficiency of decision-making. Management and staff can obtain information about the qualities of applicants or employees. Beside insight in qualities, an e-assessment also gives the opportunity to determine the personal need for development of the applicant or employee. This can be used for a personal development plan.

How reliable is an online assessment?

E-Assessment is entirely reliable and is totally safe for your IT-systems. All GITP instruments have been carefully reviewed and tested. Moreover, the privacy of each participant is being guaranteed. An e-assessment can never replace a complete assessment. However, this instrument makes it possible to coordinate follow-up studies influenced by the results of the e-assessment.
